Full Circle: Show Returns to Clonmel
My tour ends where it began, in Clonmel. Find out more about my final slow.
All good things come to an end, and my mighty summer of touring People Wipe Me will finish where it began – in my hometown of Clonmel. I'll be delivering my final show on Thursday 15 September, this day week.
It'll be held at Raheen House, a boutique hotel with a warm, intimate atmosphere, and it'll be another foodie evening, with the show first at 7pm and then grub afterwards.
Tickets are selling nicely, and as I make my final preparations, I'll be hoping they'll be just as hot tickets as the previous shows have been. I'm delighted to have so much support from the people of Clonmel and I want to thank them sincerely.
Plan for the Show
I'll head up earlier in the day, without trusty sidekick Lynda Gough this time. I think I'm getting the hang of all this setup business now so I'll have a fine time settling in, testing out the acoustics and 'walking the space' as we actors call it.
The audience will start to trickle in at 6.30, and based on previous performances, that trickle will become a flood by 7pm. I'm going to pounce on someone to handle the box office. Eventbrite lets you turn your phone into a ticket scanner – quite snazzy.
A Showy Evening
The audience will sit at tables of four and I'll float above them on a raised stage. I'll burst through the crowd giving my contrary intro spiel, then climb up on to the stage and begin.
About an hour later, dazed and on a high, I will finish the show and we will enjoy a tasty meal together. At time of writing, I understand this will be a buffet meal, a nice hearty dinner after all those words. Drinks will be available for purchase at the bar.
If you'd like to come and join me, tickets are €25 including the meal and you can book your tickets now on Eventbrite – buy them here. If online booking is a problem, have a chat with me and we'll sort something out; you'll get me on 0876959799.
