Just dropping in to wish you all a happy and peaceful Christmas and a wonderful, writerly New Year. I want to thank you all for subscribing to this newsletter, for reading it, liking it and commenting on it. It means a great deal.
The words Merry Christmas appear on a door, spelt with coloured letters. The door is wooden and there are decorations along the edges of it, including a candy cane and pine cones.
Also, well done to newsletter subscribers and faithful correspondents Margaret Galvin and Mary Howlett, who were published in The Festive Star, Waterford News and Star's Christmas magazine. They regularly send their poems out into the world, like boats on an open sea, and now those boats are returning to harbour with a rich bounty.
