Killing It For My Kill Show

The Kill puns are flying as I prepare for my final show in Kill, Co. Waterford.

I'm full of excitement as I prepare for my last-ever People Wipe Me show in Kill. Mostly I'm excited by the opportunity the name Kill gives me to come up with puns. Killing It In Kill. In for the Kill, Kill Ahead. Feel free to add your own in the comments.

My show in Kill has certain things in common with the show I gave in Moone last August. Both names are highly punworthy. And both offer gorgeous community spaces run by dedicated women.

In the case of Kill, a village smack in the middle of Co. Waterford, it's Angela Mulcahy, founder of the Gealach Gorm (Blue Moon) Theatre. She has given me the honour of performing my show there on Thursday 23 February at 8pm.

Grand Bit of Promotion

The promotion is going well. I can reassure those who read last week's post that way more than six people have already booked.

A press release has gone to the papers. I mentioned the show in an interview I gave to WLRFM's arts programme, On the Fringe.

And I got a lovely poster done up, created by my graphic designer and one of my most loyal cheerleaders, Roisin Royce of Royce Design. Heartfelt thanks for both your skill and your constant support.

The rest of my promotion involves guilting all the people who didn't see the previous shows to come and see this one, as it is the very last one. Meanwhile, Angela is busy spreading the word with her dedicated fanbase.

And on this very day, I am heading out to Gealach Gorm to have a little looksee with my dream team,  James Power of Stagemad and Andrew Dunphy, the lighting genius.
