Nuggets For You: A Dreaming Skin

Angela Carr is a sound writer. She’s sound because she looks up competition and submission opportunities for writers, gathers them all up and puts them on her blog, A Dreaming Skin.

The opportunities are mostly for poets, but the journals she lists also publish other forms of writing, so all writers can gain from it. The blog comes out every month, and the submission deadlines are listed beside each publishing outlet, so you’ll know when to get them in.

My Own Nugget: What Are You Writing Next

I dread this question. Because I’m not a prolific writer. It takes ages for a new idea to form in my brain. They tend to creep up on me. But I have decided this is the year I’ll write something new – or maybe a lot of little new somethings.
